Bought new in Aug 2006. I traveled often internationally for a decade; so low mileage per year. Great acceleration; comfortable seats; decent radio. Great cargo space. MPG was in the low thirties for years, but has dropped to the high twenties in recent years.
I’ve driven it on several 400 (each way) mile vacation trips. No problems. Has done great in rain and snow.
There was some rust under left rear wheel well; I paid to have it cut out. Only ongoing issue has been the weak air conditioning. No engine problems.
Because parts are getting scarce for the model, I recently looked at some new SUVs. While the new cars have all sorts of new safety features, none seem to have the pick-up of my current car. And I actually prefer the simplicity of my car; so, I think I’m going to hold onto it for a while longer.
It’s been one really good dependable car.
